Chess champion joins Armenia’s Army

YEREVAN, JANUARY 24, ARMENPRESS: The new Armenian chess champion Karen Grigoryan joins today the Armenian Army.“Certainly this is a circle of life, which should be passed. After the service the life will continue. This is our duty before our nation, which we should fulfill and only after that be calm that we have contributed to your fatherland’s defense”, - told Grigoryan to Armenpress.

At the Armenian Chess Tournament Karen Grigoryan got 6 points out of 9 possible. Grigoryan has represented Armenia in different world and European tournaments.
