YEREVAN, 16 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. During a January 16 trial at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk Province, prosecutor Artur Sargsyan gave an accusatory speech and demanded sentencing Vardan Petrosyan to 6 years and 6 months in prison.
In an interview with “Armenpress”,Vardan Petrosyan’s attorney Nikolay Baghdasaryanmentioned that he still hasn’t managed to analyze the prosecutor’s speech completely.“The prosecutor’s accusatory speech was mainly about me personally and my articles published in the presses, not the crime that Vardan Petrosyan committed,”Baghdasaryan emphasized, adding that the next trial for Vardan Petrosyan’s case will be held on January 23 at 12:30.
