Sergei Shoigu condemns crime in Gyumri

YEREVAN, 12 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu, and Deputy Minister of Defense David Tonoyan had a telephone conversation with his counterpart. As “Armenpress” reports, citing the post on the Facebook page of press speaker of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Russian officials expressed their condolences in relation to the murder that took place in Gyumri and condemned the crime. Moreover, they pledged to do everything possible for full revelation of the circumstances behind the crime. In addition, the Russian Federation will be sending a special commission to lead an investigation into the incident.

According to reliable sources, the commission will be led by First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General Arkady Bakhin.
