Another statement by Serj Tankian on George Clooney's visit to Armenia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: The famous rock musician, the soloist of the System of a Down band Serj Tankian made another statement on the Hollywood star George Clooney’s visit to Armenia. Notwithstanding the fact that on December 17 Tankian wrote in Instagram that “the rumor that George Clooney will be coming to Armenia next April is undeniable truth”, nevertheless the singer told the Armenian Asbarez, published in the USA, that nobody has information about the visit. “We do not have any information about Clooney”, - said Tankian, Armenpress reports.

Previously it was reported that System of a Down will commemorate the 100thanniversary of the Armenian Genocide with their Wake Up The Souls tour, commencing on April 10thand concluding with their first-ever performance in Armenia with a free show in Yerevan’s Republic Square. Armenpress reported, citing the official website of the band that in the video, published in the website, the musicians say: “Join us to reach justice in this issue”.
