YEREVAN, 11 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The issue of restoration of the drinking water pipeline for 5 villages of Arpa community will be solved with the creation of the “Lake Arpa” National Park next year. There will also be a station for artificial insemination in farm animals. Drinking water pipelines have already been restored in 6 villages near Lake Arpa. Prior to that, some villages either had no water at all, or would have water by the hour, as Director of WWF-Armenia Karen Manvelyan reports to “ArmenPress”.
A tourism center has been created within the frames of the project. This will help receive tourists in the winter since the Mets Sepasar Mountain is located nearby and is a wonderful site for winter tourism. Administrative buildings have also been built in the villages adjacent to Lake Arpa and, overall, the creation of the reserve has created 44 jobs for the residents of the 14 villages.
