Armenian jewelers’ factory bombed in Aleppo

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS: On December 9 the jewelers’ market in Aleppo became a target for the armed terrorist groupings. Armenpress was informed about it from the Berio News Facebook page. A big barrel-made missile fell and exploded on the building, the last floor of which is an Armenian’s apartment and the rest is a jewelry factory. Fortunately, no human losses were registered and the damages are only material.

The explosion damaged the building of the Armenian Catholic Diocese nearby the factory, the churches, houses and shops in the square. The district has been abandoned by the population. Many Armenians moved to safer districts.
