Romanian Ambassador to Armenia has been urgently called back

YEREVAN, 5 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania has urgently called Romanian Ambassador to Armenia Sorin Vasile back to Bucharest to give explanations, as reliable sources report to “ArmenPress”. The reason why Sorin Vasile is being called back to Bucharest is because of his disrespectful and subjective statements on the Armenian Genocide, as well as his overtly anti-Semitic and homophobic comments made during an event at the American University of Armenia. Although the Ambassador apologized to the Armenian people later, there are new developments in this diplomatic scandal.
