Hakob Injighulyan testifies during trial of Azerbaijani diversionists

STEPANAKERT, 3 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS-ARTSAKHPRESS. Temporary military serviceman of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Hakob Injighulyan, who was captured in Azerbaijan nearly a year ago, was a witness during the December 3 trial of Shahbaz Guliyev and Dilham Askerov, the two members of the Azerbaijani investigative-diversion group that illegally crossed the NKR state border via Shahumyan region in July 2014. The trial was held at the first instance court of general jurisdiction of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
Hakob Injighulyan was interrogated in captivity in Azerbaijan by the deceased member of the diversion group that had illegally crossed the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani border, officer of Azerbaijan’s Special Service Hasan Hasanov, who, along with the other members of the group, had been filming scenes in the Karvatchar region of Artsakh.
As “ArtsakhPress” reports to “ArmenPress”, with help from a computer expert invited to the trial, witness Hakob Injighulyan was first introduced to the video made during the interrogation in Azerbaijan, after which he responded to the questions of the judge, the state prosecutor and the advocates and provided details of his captivity in Azerbaijan in relation to the case.
