YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS: Armenia is vulnerable from the viewpoint of cyber security not only because it is a part of the cyber domain, but also for being the target of the neighbor-state, information security expert Samvel Martirosyan said during the hearings at the National Assembly.
Samvel Martirosyan welcomed the fact that an attempt is made to have a unified approach on a state level. He noted on a state level the National Security Service has taken enough activity, as a result of which the situation has improved. “But there are also non-state communities and their vulnerability may cause problems on a state level.
The expert noted that Azerbaijan is inclined to implement cyber crime against Armenia. He expressed concern that Azerbaijan, besides home wiretapping, also implements wiretappings in the territory of Armenia through a special program, which cannot be easily revealed by current antivirus systems.
