Author of Wikipedia’s first monument is Armenian

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: The first monument in the world to “Wikipedia” free internet encyclopedia will be set up in Poland. The monument will be situated in Slubice city – not far from the German border, Armenpress reports citing Tass.

According to the plan, the monument will be set up in the Frankfurt Square. The author of the project is thirty-year-old Armenian-Polish sculptor Mihran Hakobyan, who studies philology at the Collegium. About the monument’s composition it is only known that its height is 1, 7 meters. The project costs 10 thousand Euros, which is extended from the municipal budget. The opening ceremony is scheduled for October 22.
