Armenia nuclear plant will suspend operations for 1.5 months

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) will be disconnected from the country’s energy grid as of Saturday, September 27, at 00:00am. The Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Power Plant informed Armenpress that the plant will suspend operations to undergo annual scheduled repairs and refueling.

The respective work at the ANPP second energy unit will last about 46 days,

The Armenian Nuclear Power Plant is slated to be reconnected to the energy grid on November 11 2014.
