As “Armenpress” reports, the Moscow City Court decision states: “Leave the Basmanny court’s decision on Levon Hayrapetyan’s arrest as a impediment measure unchanged, and leave the defense’ application without satisfaction”.

After the session Hayrapetyan’s lawyer Henry Reznik considered the Court’s decision “flagrant”. As “Itar- Tass” reports, Reznik stated: “He is charged with an article according to which one can’t be put under arrest (RF Criminal Code 174.1), so it a flagrant violation.”

Previously it was reported that the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation arrested Russia-resident rich Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan. As reports “Armenpress” citing “Rosbalt”, Levon Hayrapetyan was detained on July 15 in Domodedovo Airport, where the airplane landed from Monaco.

The investigators transported the Armenian businessman to the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation under special surveillance, where he was officially informed about the arrest.
