OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will not be present at Sargsyan- Aliyev meeting in Sochi

YEREVAN, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS. Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick (U.S.A.), Igor Popov (Russia), Pierre Andrieu (France) are not planning to visit Sochi on August 8-9 and attend the meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan - Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev. "Armenpress" was informed from the U.S. Embassy in Armenia that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs do not plan any visit to Sochi.

During his working visit to Gavar on August 2, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said that the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet in Sochi on August 8-9. He expressed hope that after their meeting the tension on the border will be relieved. In Sochi Sargsyan and Aliyev meet for the 19th time. Their previous meeting was held on November 19, 2013 in Vienna.
