Armenia's Defense Minister sees no need for deployment of peacekeepers in Karabakh zone

YEREVAN, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS. According to the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan, South Caucasus is the only region among all the other conflict zones on the globe, where it is possible to establish balance and maintain the relatively ceasefire regime without a third power due to qualitative and combat readiness. As reports “Armenpress”, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan stated this at the course of the press conference held on August 6 in the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

Among other things, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan underscored: “We can solve the issues we have to face with by ourselves and there is absolutely no need for the deployment of peacekeeping forces.”
