Levon Ter-Petrosyan's goal is to serve inner-party interests: Sharmazanov

YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. The expressions concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict made in the interview of the First President of the Republic of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan the Deputy Chairmanof the National Assembly of Armenia, Edward Sharmazanov qualified, to put it mildly, as repulsive. In a conversation with "Armenpress" Sharmazanov said that he did not consider it ethical when, to serve the inner-party interests, the Karabakh problem was being brought forward.

"Reading the interview, it became clear that Levon Ter-Petrosyan's goal was to serve the inner-party interests. His goal is neither the Eurasian Union, nor the issue of border incidents with the Republic of Armenia. The wish to attach great importance and soundness to his words made the First President speak about Nagorno-Karabakh and the danger that threatens it," said Sharmazanov, adding that such a practice is, at least, not ethical, because there is no need to defend Nagorno-Karabakh from the authorities.
