YEREVAN, JUNE 30, ARMENPRESS. The Turks living in Germany refused to meet Turkey's main opposition party leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who is on a visit to Cologne. As reports “Armenpress”, this was informed by the Turkish Demokrathaber.net. The Turkish opposition leader, who had arrived in Germany for the collection of votes for his party's nominated candidate for the presidency, visited the Federation of Unions of Aleviakan, Greek and Assyrian churches, expressed a wish to meet with the Armenian community in Germany, but the Armenian spiritual primacy in Germany rejected the Turkish leader’s request.

"According to media reports, within the frames of his visit to Germany, the Republican People's Party leader Kılıçdaroğlu planned to visit the Armenian church. This statement, which was spread in the media, does not reflect the reality. Kilicdaroglu’s request to visit the Armenian church was refused by the Armenian spiritual primacy. As long as Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the Republican People's Party leaders deny the Armenian genocide, it is not appropriate to receive them here" - said the representative of the Armenian spiritual primacy in German.

Earlier, the Turkish mass media disseminated information that in the frames of the forthcoming visit to Germany the Turkish opposition leader planned to visit the Armenian St. Sahak-Mesrop Church.
