I went to U.S. not to become star, but to learn: Tatevik Hovhannisyan

YEREVAN, JUNE 26, ARMENPRESS.Renowned jazz singer Tatevik Hovhannisyan will have a concert tour in Armenia and Artsakh. In the frames of her tour, the famous singer will perform in Stepanakert for the first time. The organizer of Tatevik Hovhannisyan’s first Armenian tour is “Azd production”.

On the initiative of “Azd production”, the singer will present not one, but four concerts to the Armenian audience. The singer’s first concert will take place on June 28 in Yerevan’s "Yans" music club, and the second on June 30 in Gyumri’s V. Ajemian State Drama Theatre. Then, on July 2, the famous singer will perform in Stepanakert. The series will be concluded on July 4, with the main concert at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiarian.

At the June 26 press conference, the singer noted that during her Armenian tour she will perform Armenian folk music in jazz style, as well as American, Portuguese, Brazilian songs, including completely new ones.

"Giving a concert in Artsakh is the initiative of “Azd production”. At first I thought the trip would take 6 hours, and it would be difficult, but now I am excited. When I woke up this morning, Yerevan was asleep. It was quiet everywhere. New York City works for 24 hours, and here only one woman was sweeping outside. Yerevan is connected with the history of my life. It is slowly disappearing, I know some places, but if I stay in some other places I will get lost. Some changes in the city are praiseworthy, some are not" – reports “Armenpress”, citing Tatevik Hovhannisyan.
