Identity of person who shot in court yard during Shant Harutyunyan's trial revealed /UPDATED/

YEREVAN, JUNE 12, ARMENPRESS. The person who shot in the court yard of the universal court of Yerevan’s Kentron and Norq-Marash districts is Hayk Kyureghyan. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Public Relations and Information of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, he was arrested by the Central Department of the Police. Firing from an air pistol, he injured five policemen.

On June 12, at the start of the first trial of the case of "Tseghakron" party leader Shant Harutyunyan, who had provoked disturbances in the center of Yerevan, in the court yard of the universal court of Yerevan’s Kentron and Norq-Marash districts, shots were fired. The shooter announced that he would prevent the trial by all means, then, getting on a car, he started to fire from a pistol in the direction of the police officers.
