YEREVAN, JUNE 10, ARMENPRESS. 12-year-old David Vartanyan will represent Armenia at "NEW WAVE JUNIOR 2014". The international song contest “New Wave Junior 2014” will be held in Crimeafrom August 16 to August 18.
In a conversation with the reporter of “Armenpress”, David Vardanyan said that he had started to sing since he was four years old, in "Arevik" Children'sEnsemble. "Last year I participated in the “New Wave Junior" contest, but did not pass the final phase. Besides, I participated in the "Junior Eurovision 2013" in the Armenian pre-finals and won the second place. This year also I did not give up and tried to participate in the" New Wave Junior" and, finally, I did. I am very proud and grateful to all for loving and supporting me" - said David Vartanyan.
The young singer has returned from Moscow with vivid impressions. "It was very nice there, I especially loved the evenings, when we rejoiced with our friends" - recalls David.
The young singer has a strong desire and believes to win at the "NEW WAVE JUNIOR 2014". "I want to go and to have a very good performance, so that everybody likes me. Why not, I'm going to win" - said David Vartanyan. As to what songs the singer will perform in the Crimea is not yet known, because a professional jury is dealing with the choice of the songs. David Vartanyan loves classical music, his favorite singers are Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli. He plays the piano. The boy loves also pop and jazz music.
