Brad Pitt to produce film about immigrants

YEREVAN, JUNE 6, ARMENPRESS. Hollywood actor Brad Pitt will produce a film about immigrants, starring Lupita Nyong'o. As reports “Armenpress”, referring to TheHollywoodReporter, the film is based on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel “Americanah”. It tells about the epic love story of young Nigerians, a romance that spans continents, visas, phone cards and breakups, while exploring the cruelties and the humor of both the modern immigrant experience and the difficulty of finding your way home.

In 2013 Brad Pitt's Plan B company produced director Steve McQueen's film “12 Years a Slave”, which is Academy Award winner. Lupita Nyong'o made her debut in this film and for her portrayal as Patsey received the best supporting actress Oscar.
