Armenian National Committee of America called on White House to stop anti-Armenian attacks in Syria

YEREVAN, JUNE 5, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian National Committee of America continues to urge the White House to stop the anti-Armenian attacks in Syria. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Office of the Armenian National Committee of America, the American-Armenians express their concern related to the recent escalation of attacks on the Armenian neighborhoods of the Syrian town of Aleppo, leading local authorities to designate the area a disaster zone.

In this regard the Armenian National Committee of America called on everybody to contact President Obama and urge him to take immediate action to: stop the rebel bombing of innocent Christians and all civilians in Aleppo, press Turkey to allow the free flow of Euphrates waters to Syria, answer the ANCA's concerns regarding Turkey's role in the forced depopulation of the historically Armenian populated city of Kessab.
