YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS. After the liberation of Homs on May 15, His Grace Bishop Armash Nalbandian, Primate of the Diocese of Damascus of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and Mr. Avo Voskian, the Chairman of the National Political Council, paid a visit to St. Mesrop Church in Homs and “Sahakyan” national college to get acquainted with the damage caused to the national structures. The Armenian Prelacy of Damascus informed “Armenpress” about this.
The buildings of the church and school had been turned into militants’ centre. The hall in the basement was turned into a hospital. The place, where the children used to sing and dance and hold various events, was turned into a special operating room with all modern facilities.
