People shot in Yerevan’s city centre identified

EREVAN, MAY 17, ARMENPRESS. The youngest man injured in the shooting in Yerevan’s city centre on May 17 is 26-year old Myasnik Hayrapetyan; the eldest is 72-year old Mnatsakan Sukiasyan. 64-year old Albina Badalyan also was slightly injured. She received a gunshot wound in the area of her leg. Valery Hovhannisyan and Noryar Harutyunyan are 30 years old. They are currently being operated on.

Previously it was reported that shootings were heart in the centre of capital Yerevan. The incident occurred in the Khanjyan Street, in the vicinity of the Cinema House. The employee of the Media and Public Relations Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia Armen Malkhasyan confirmed the news in a conversation with “Armenpress” and stated that three people have been hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The details of the incident are being clarified.
