Official of U.S. Embassy to Armenia visits Armenia’s police

YEREVAN, MARCH 20, ARMENPRESS: The Chief of the Police staff of the Republic of Armenia, Major-General Vardan Yeghiazaryan on March 20 received the Head of cooperation with legislative bodies and fight against illegal drugs of the USA Embassy to Armenia Edward O'Brien. The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Police of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that at the course of the meeting the interlocutors discussed joint activities between the program on cooperation with legislative bodies and fight against illegal drugs of the USA Embassy to Armenia and the Police of the Republic of Armenia, support to various subdivisions of the Police of the Republic of Armenia by the office, as well as issues related to programs to be realized in the coming future.

At the end of the meeting the order of the Chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia was read on awarding Edward O'Brien with certificate of Armenia’s Police for the support, as well as the personal contribution to the realization of joint programs.
