YEREVAN, MARCH 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenia is for the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis through dialogue, in peaceful and negotiated manner based on the UN Charter, international law. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandian stated this in response to the question by “Haylur” news program on what Armenia’s position is on the developments in Ukraine after the referendum in Crimea.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that to the question what influence Ukrainian crisis may have on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, Edward Nalbandian answered: “We are committed to the priority of a peaceful and fair solution of the Karabakh issue within the format of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship, to the supremacy of the Karabakh people’s right to live and create in their own country. Together with the three Co-Chairs we will continue our joint efforts for exclusively peaceful settlement of the Karabakh issue.”
