Armenian Defense Minister receives Iranian counterpart

On May 20, the Minister of Defense of the RA Suren Papikyan received the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the IRI, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, who arrived in the Republic of Armenia for an official visit, the Armenian Defense Ministry has said in a statement.

The welcoming ceremony for Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh took place at the administrative complex of the MOD, featuring a guard of honor and a military band.

The national anthems of the RA and IRI were played during the ceremony.
