Armenian national squad starts training

YEREVAN, MARCH 3, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian national football squad starts the training, getting prepared for the friendly match against the Russian team. The Football Federation of Armenia informed Armenpress that on March 3 at 18:00 the closed training of the Armenian team will take place in the Football Academy of the Football Federation of Armenia.

On March 4 at 10:00 the Armenian delegation will leave for Krasnodar with a special charter flight. On March 4 at 17:30 the press conference of Vardan Minasyan will be held in Kuban stadium of Krasnodar. Then at 18:00 the training of the Armenian team will be held, the first 15 minutes of which will be “open” for the media.

A friendly match between Russia and Armenia will take place in Kuban stadium, Krasnodar, on March 5 at 18:00. The match will be broadcast by Armenia TV Company. 23 players are invited for this match. The goalkeepers are Roman Berezovsky, Gevorg Kasparov and Arsen Beglaryan. The defenders are Robert Arzumanyan, Hrayr Mkoyan, Varazdat Haroyan, Taron Voskanyan, Kamo Hovhannisyan and Hovhannes Hambardzumyan. The midfielders are Gevorg Ghazaryan, Artak Dashyan, Karlen Mkrtchyan, Artak Edigaryan, Artur Edigaryan, Aras Ozbiliz, Marcos Pizzelli, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Karen Muradyan, David Hakobyan and Aghvan Papikyan. And the forwarders are Yura Movsisyan, Artur Sarkisov and Sargis Adamyan.

FFA technical director Vardan Minasyan will head Armenian national team during the match against Russia.
