Russian military base in Armenia getting ready for tank biathlon

YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. The tankmen of the Russian military base located in Armenia started preparations for the competition between its tank units - tank biathlon at “Alagyaz” training complex. Over 200 conscripts along with 30 defense technologies have been engaged in the trainings.

The Press Service of the South Military Region of the Russian Federation informed “Armenpress” that the competitions comprise complex exercises with T-72B tank, which involve obstacle negotiation and shooting, as well as special tactical readiness.

On January 14-17 the participants have already held one of the stages of the preparation for the upcoming competitions at “Alagyaz” training complex.
