Armenian Prosecutor General to meet Nils Muižnieks

YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS: The delegation, headed by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia and the representative of the Armenian Government at the European Court of Human Rights Gevorg Kostanyan, will leave for Strasbourg on January 19. On January 20 Kostanyan will meet with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muižnieks. The Advisor to the Prosecutor General Christine Melkonyan told Armenpress that Kostanyan will take part in the official ceremony of the European Court’s “Legal Year” opening on January 31.

The representative of the Armenian Government at the European Court of Human Rights will attend as well the sessions “Chiragov vs. Armenia” on January 22 and “Sargsyan vs. Azerbaijan” to be held on February 5 in the ECtHR.
