GENEVA, JANUARY 14, ARMENPRESS. The dates for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest have been officially approved and can be announced.
The European Broadcasting Union, together with Public Broadcasting Services Ltd of Malta, confirmed that the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held on Saturday 15 November.
As reports “Armenpress” citing the official website of the organization, PBS, the host broadcaster for 2014, submitted their proposed date to the EBU last week. This has now been approved by the Junior Eurovision Steering Group.
2014 marks a historic year for Malta, celebrating significant anniversaries as an independent country, as a republic, and as a member of the European Union. Hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on 15 November, the first time a Eurovision event takes place on the island, can now be added to the list of highlights!
