Chief of police regards 2014 crucial for fight against crime

YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. The Chief of the Police Vladimir Gasparyan held the first working meeting in Gegharkunik Regional Police Department on January 8.

Armenpress was informed from the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Police of the Republic of Armenia that congratulating the staff for Christmas and New Year's holidays Vladimir Gasparyan introduced the Head of Gegharkunik Regional Police Department, Police Colonel Arsen Adamyan.

Analyzing the results of the previous year, the Chief of the Police reacted on a number of weaknesses and shortcomings in the work of regional department and subordinate units.

Vladimir Gasparyan highlighted the priority of improving the moral and psychological atmosphere of the staff emphasizing that professionalism should be in the basis of activity of policemen, any inducement should be excluded, and the principle of superiorityofthelaw should not have any exceptions.
