China to provide 50 million yuan military aid to Armenia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan and his counterpart of the People's Republic of China Colonel-General ChangWanquan on December 26 signed an agreement on the per year military assistance provided free of charge by China to the Republic of Armenia on the amount of 5 million Chinese yean.
“Armenpress’ was informed from the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia that within the frames of the official visit to the People's Republic of China the delegation headed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan met Deputy President of the Central Military Council of the People's Republic of China General-Colonel Sui Tsilyan and the Minister of Defense of the People's Republic of China General-Colonel ChangWanquan.
At the course of the negotiations the sides held a discussion upon the further development ways of the Armenian-Chinese relations. In particular, the interlocutors discussed the prospects of the development of military education, medicine, military training, as well as military-technical cooperation.
