Armenian schools to hold New Year events in Aleppo

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Though the situation is conflict and tense in Aleppo, the Armenian schools get ready for New Year's events. Our source of Aleppo informed “Armenpress” about it noting that festive events will take place in Armenian schools for the aim of making the children happy. Moreover, Armenian Charity Common Union intends to organize a festive concert for the community. The communities of Evangelical Church, as well as Katoghike Church will also organize small events. So, even in a difficult situation Armenians residing in Aleppo try to celebrate the coming year with positive hopes.

As for the overall situation in the city the source said that the Christian neighborhoods of the city have become bombing target in recent period.
