Baroness Caroline Cox to receive Charles Aznavour award

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The Member of the House of Lords, Baroness Caroline Cox will receive Charles Aznavour award for contribution to strengthening of the Armenia-Europe relations. The European Friends of Armenia NGO (EuFoA) informed “Armenpress” that the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Switzerland Charles Aznavour will hand over the award to Baroness Caroline Cox. The ceremony will be held at Club Suisse de la Presse in Geneva on November 25.

The award is presented over on behalf of European Friends of Armenia NGO (EuFoA) and Council of Europe-Armenia.

Caroline Cox, Baroness Cox is a cross-bench member of the British House of Lords. She also is the founder and CEO of an organisation called the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART). She has campaigned for humanitarian causes, particularly relating to disability, and has championed a range of Christian, eurosceptic and marginal causes, including action on forgotten wars in Africa.
