BSEC becomes another victim of Azerbaijani propaganda

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Recently the Azerbaijani media spread news saying that the NGO Forum of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) issued statement protesting against pressures on the Moldovan Human Rights Commissioner by the Armenian side. Particularly it was stated that they strictly condemn Armenia’s attitude towards Moldovan Human Rights Commissioner and urge the international organizations to express more severe position on Armenia’s attitude. “Armenpress” News Agency tried to find out what forum it is and if it has any relation with the BSEC.

Responding our inquiry Ambassador Ahmet Kamil Erozan, First Deputy Secretary General of the BSEC, assured us that there is no such an organization anyhow related to the BSEC. Among other things he noted that BSEC is an interstate organization and that the forum mentioned in the Azerbaijani media may be just a NGO.
