Armenian football team places 38th: Record horizontal

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS: In the FIFA ranking the Armenian national football team appeared on the record 38th place. Armenpress reports that the FIFA has published a new ranking list, where our squad has improved its position with 17 horizontals. The team of Vardan Minasyan places the 38th with 687 points.

The top 10 of the FIFA ranking includes the teams of Spain, Germany, Argentina, Columbia, Belgium, Uruguay, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy and England.

In the World Cup qualifiers our team held 10 matches. The Armenians won 4 games, lost 5 matches and played draw with the leader of the group, the Italian team, due to which they have improved their result and registered a considerable progress in the FIFA ranking.
