Special Committee of Constitutional Reforms studies issues on division of authorities

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The Special Committee of the Constitutional Reforms discussed the basic issues on the division of the authorities in the 4th session. As Armenpress was informed by the Secretariat of the Committee, a member of the Committee, Vardan Minasyan, made a report on the following conceptual issues: "Division and balancing of the authorities: modern issues, the possible alternatives of their solution, in the account of the trends of international developments". The members of the Committee discussed the conceptual approaches to the above mentioned issues. The procedure and the working plan of the Committee and the Secretariat were also put under discussion. The next session of the Committee will be held on October 13, 2013.

According to the decree of September 4 signed by the President of the Republic if Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, professional committee of constitutional improvements has been created. The Committee should ,by April 20, 2014 introduce the constitutional reform concept of the Republic of Armenia to the President of Armenia.
