13-year-old Hayk Martirosyan – European Champion

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS: The 13-year-old Armenian FIDE Master Hayk Martirosyan took the title of the European Champion in U14 group of the European Youth Blitz Championship that was held in Budva, Montenegro. As Armenpress was reported by the Armenian Chess Federation, Hayk had no defeat and scored 7,5 points out of 9.

The Grand Master Hovhannes Gabuzyan became a bronze medal holder in U18 group. In the same tournament the Grand Master Karen Grigoryan took the 4th place.

Mane Hovhannisyan also took the 4th place in the Girls U10 group.

Today the European Youth Rapid Championship is held in Budva.
