Hrachya Harutyunyan admitted his guilt

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS: Armenian citizen Hrachya Harutyunyan who is blamed in car accident near Podolsk admitted his guilt. “Armenpress” reports that about this informs “ITAR-TASS”.
“Harutyunyan today gave testimony admitting his guilt. Avoiding from crashing the cars in front of him he made a wrong decision. Harutyunyan informed that his carry could not stop and the speed was great,” informed lawyer Ruben Margaryan.
The homemade car could not stop because of which the driver decided to bypass the car in front of him as the corresponding part of the road was empty. In fact he managed to do so but he could not avoid crash with the bus. Harutyunyan saw the bus during the last second when the tire of his carry was already in the air,” said the lawyer.
In Margaryan’s words Harutyunyan is sorry for what happened. “He apologizes from relatives of victims and wounded people and admits that he can not compensate his guilt,” mentioned Margaryan.
In his words Harutyunyan wants to find out the reasons of the accident with investigation body in order “other drivers know about it and not make wrong decisions in such situations.
On July 13 at 13:00 in New Moscow, nearby the Podolsk Village, Kamaz truck came out of the second line and crashed into a bus driving from Podolsk to Kurilovo, sharing it into two parts. In the result of the car accident 18 people died and more than 60 were wounded. The driver of the truck Hrachya Harutyunyan was accused of the violation of the traffic security rules, causing the death of two or more people. Two-month detention was imposed to the Armenian. He was taken to the court in a woman’s bathrobe.
Human Rights Defender of Armenia Karen Andreasyanon this case left for Moscow on July 21. He discussed the case with Harutyunyan’s lawyers.
