Karekin II congratulates on Day of Knowledge

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS: His Holiness Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians and the Supreme Patriarch sent a congratulatory message on the Day of Knowledge. As reported by Armenpress, the message says in particular: “From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin we extend Our Pontifical blessings on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge, congratulating all the teachers, students and schoolchildren of educational institutions.

Dear Ones, we are greeting this festive day with a joyous heart and amiable goals. We are positive that thanks to the efforts of our dedicated teachers and devoted education staff; education, books and reading become florescent torches in children’s life. Study with love, as it is said in the scripture: "The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out". (Proverb18 15)

We extend our prayers and plea to Almighty God to make the new academic year productive with His heaven-sent divine blessings. And that our children will continuously multiply their knowledge with their efforts, and reinforced with that knowledge, they will be able to dutifully serve for our Homeland and the Holy Church.
