Kaliningrad Police does not comment on motives of shots fired near Armenian church

YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS. Some details have been revealed regarding the gunshots fired in the surroundings of the Armenian Apostolic St. Stephan Church in Kaliningrad, on August 27. As reports "Armenpress" citing REGNUM news agency, the Press Service of the Kaliningrad branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the local police station received a report saying that a group of men started quarreling in the Gertsen street and gunshots were heard.

The police arrived at the spot immediately, but the participants of the squabble managed to escape in an unknown direction. The police found traumatic gun's capsules and an axe in the crime site. As a result of operative activities the Police found a suspect's car, which took three men with gunshot wounds to the hospital.

The motives of the incident are still unknown. The Police do not comment on the news regarding the ethnic grounds of the incident widely spread in mass media.
