YEREVAN, JULY 23, ARMNEPRESS: During the first contest day on July 23 the winner of the Armenia’s Voice project Mari Mnjoyan, representing Armenia at the New Wave 2013 international song contest, will present the international hit All By Myself. The singer informed the Armenpress correspondent that she is quiet ready for the contest.
“The great delegation of Armenia is by my side. The advices of the director of the contest and the jury member Alexander Revzin are on my mind, so I am more than ready”, - shared her impressions Mari Mnjoyan.
On the hit day our delegate will perform Arno Babajanian’s “Твои следы” (Your Traces) with Erik and will present also “Me and only you” song. Currently the Armenian delegation is in Jūrmala, by the side of the young Armenian singer Mari Mnjoyan.
This year the contest is attended by 16 representatives of 12 countries. The audience will be able to watch the entire process of the contest live on Armenia TV at 22:30.
New Wave is an international contest for new stars, which usually lasts for six days: 3 contest days, 2 special event days and, at the end, the day where the contest's results are announced followed by an ending concert.
New Wave is a contest for young performers of popular music which was founded by a Russian composer Igor Krutoy and by Latvian pianist and composer Raimonds Pauls in 2002 and later enhanced by a very famous Russian superstar Alla Pugacheva. New wave is held in the Latvian coastal city of Jūrmala (Dzintari).
