A documentary film about Valery Bryusov has been shot

YEREVAN, JULY 12, ARMENPRESS: the film “Bryusov” about famous Russian writer, playwright, literary critic and historian of twentieth century was presented to the audience on July 12 in theater after Henrik Malyan. It was shown in framework of “Golden Apricot” international film festival. “Armenpress” reports calling the official website of the festival the film is the first documentary one telling about Bryusov. The director of the film is Samvel Matosyan. In literary heritage of Bryusov great role has translation of Armenian poetry and formation of digest “Armenian poetry from ancient times to our days”. He has published more than 80 books.

The film showing is also symbolic by the fact that in 2013 in Armenia and Russia is celebrated 140th anniversary of Bryusov. The producer of the film is Natalia Syumina. Auther of scenario Samvel Matosyan, operator – Tigran Matosyan.

In Yerevan since February 4, 1935 operates State linguistic university after Valery Bryusov. During its activity the university has prepared around 25 000 specialists of Russian, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish languages, political sciences, international tourism, international journalism and etc.
