Armenia's Prosecutor General signed documents on cooperation with Cyprus and Moldova

YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS. The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Aghvan Hovsepyan signed a program of cooperation between the procurator's offices of the two countries with his Moldovan counterpart in addition to the memorandum signed on January 29. The Prosecutors General of the Republic of Armenia and Cyprus have also signed a memorandum on cooperation as well.

Among other things the Attorney-General of the Republic of Cyprus Petros Clerides stated that there is a large Armenian community in his country, which is a good incentive for the development of friendly relations. As reports "Armenpress" the Attorney-General of the Republic of Cyprus Petros Clerides underscored: "I am hopeful that the memorandum on cooperation will strengthen the future legal cooperation between the two structures."

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Moldova Corneliu Gurin highlighted that signing the cooperation program with the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia will serve as a new impulse for the bilateral cooperation. "By signing this document our cooperation will reach new heights," the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Moldova Corneliu Gurin noted.

The delegation of the prosecutors general form a number of European countries and CIS arrived in the Republic of Armenia on the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Aghvan Hovsepyan on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of procurator's services in Armenia.
