Armenia’s Air Force celebrated professional day

YEREVAN, JUNE 28, ARMENPRESS: The helicopters and planes of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia on June 28 performed triumphant leaps, demonstrating elements of high pilotage and other skills in the sky. On the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the formation of the Aviation of the Armed Forces, the Air Forces and the Radio Control Units of the Republic of Armenia, at the Yerevan Erebuni Airport the pilots and parachutists pictured the Armenian tricolor in the sky.

Warmly congratulating the present on the occasion of the professional day, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan spoke about the international cooperation of the Armed Forces of Armenia. “Today we improve our joint skills day by day. The held international trainings once again prove this fact”, - said Seyran Ohanyan, reminding that the Air Force Day coincides with the day of the liberation of Martakert.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan spoke as well about the peaceful sky over the Artsakh Republic and Armenia’s border areas established due to the joint actions of the forces. The Minister stated that due to the heroic deeds of many hero-martyrs we have now the opportunity to live in peace. The event, devoted to the celebration of the Air Forces Day, was attended by the senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, religious officials and numerous people.
