Bicycle run heralds end of Armenian-Russian academic-touristic expedition

YEREVAN, JUNE 17, ARMENPRESS. The participants of the 2nd academic touristic expedition held under the slogan "Learn about the Motherland and Tell about It"finished their trip with an entertaining bicycle race. The aforesaid 62 km long race launched in Jermuk and ended in the Yeghegis Canyon. Burning sun did not hinder the successful course of the bicycle run, which heralded the end of this significant event aimed at raising Armenia's popularity.
In a conversation with "Armenpress" the guide of the expedition Edgar Navasardyan highlighted the successful end of the expedition. "The program was held as it had been planned. We had a very strong team and they managed to participate in the expedition in a proper manner." Among other things the guide underscored that the Russian side was very glad and impressed.
Alexander Zorin, the Chair of the Scientific Expedition Tourism Department at the Russian International Academy of Tourism, stated that they would publish a book dedicated to the results of the scientific touristic expedition, which will be dedicated to the cultural objects and sport routs of Armenia.
