Grigory Ayvazyan allowed to participate in Azerbaijani presidential race

YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS: Chairman of Assembly of Azerbaijani Armenians Grigory Ayvazyan will be allowed to participate in presidential elections of Azerbaijan in case of having all the required documents. As reports Armenpress, referring to 1news.az, this was declared by press secretary of Central Electoral Commission of Azerbaijan Azer Sariyev. “Election process hasn’t started yet and every single citizen of Azerbaijan is allowed nominating his candidacy for the post of the Head of State,” Sariyev said, adding that nationality was nothing to do with it.

Presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be held in autumn 2013.
