Photo collection of Armenian children who became orphan during Genocide to be introduced in Armenia

YEREVAN, MAY 15, ARMENPRESS. An exclusive photo collection from the Rockefeller Archive Center will be introduced in Armenia's "Narekatsi" Union of Arts on May 26. The collection was established during the Armenian Genocide and the period following it, mainly in 1915-29. In a conversation with "Armenpress" the Event Coordinator of "Narekatsi" Union of Arts Victoria Antabyan stated that the union is realizing a unique program titled "Following the Traces of Armenian Orphans" in association with the U.S. Embassy to the Republic of Armenia, the Near East Foundation of the USA, and Trchunyan home in Gyumri.

Among other things Victoria Antabyan noted: "We would like to express our gratitude to the U.S. Near East Relief Committee for their activity. The upcoming event is really exclusive. A number of photos will be introduced, which have never been shown in Armenia ever before."
