Armenia and UAE discussed issues on cooperation of Control Chambers

YEREVAN, MAY 7, ARMENPRESS. The Chairman of the Control Chamber of the Republic of Armenia Ishkhan Zakaryan hosted the Chairman of the Control Chamber of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Harib al Amim. The Press Service of Control Chamber of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that the heads of the supreme control agencies of the two countries discussed issues of mutual interest mainly regarding the future cooperation, joint control, and exchange of experience.

The ties between the supreme control chambers of the Republic of Armenia and the UAE have been particularly strengthened during the last two years. An agreement on dialogue and cooperation has been reached upon during the visit of the Chairman of the Control Chamber of the Republic of Armenia Ishkhan Zakaryan to Abu Dhabi in 2011. On the invitation of the Chairman of the Control Chamber of the Republic of Armenia the Delegation of the Control Chamber of the United Arab Emirates paid an official visit to Yerevan on May 7. The delegation also visited the Tzitzernakaberd Memorial and placed wreath at the monument dedicated to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
