Shots in Gyumri: one killed

YEREVAN, APRIL 23, ARMENPRESS: The Gyumri Department of the Police got an alarm from the Gyumri Medical Center at about 13:00pm on April 23 that Harutyun Khachatryan and Artyom Karapetyan had been moved to their Center with gunshot injuries from 54B Shirakatsi Street of Gyumri city. Artyom Karapetyan died in the hospital. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Public Relations and Mass Media of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, a criminal case was instituted at the Shirak Marz Investigation Department on the fact, according to the 104th article of the Criminal Code of Armenia.

In the result of the works carried out by the officers of the Shirak Marz Investigation Department, Kolya Ghukasyan was brought to the Gyumri Department of the Police from the Bagratashen border checkpoint, being suspected of the crime.

Operative investigation and investigative measures are being carried out to clarify the identity of the criminals and to discover them. The preliminary investigation is in process.
